Michaela Johansson joins Betfair Poker
Johansson is a 23-year-old apt poker lineman from Sweden. She arranged a favor deal with Betfair Poker that will have her representing Betfair Poker during the Main Event of the 2008 World Series of Poker.
She will also illuminate the poker site at the World Series of Poker Europe in September.
"We are very excited to have signed Michaela and are confident that she will be a huge success playing under our flag," said Patrik Landgren, Betfair poker chatelaine for Sweden.
"We wish her all the best in Vegas and look forward to seeing her at our own sponsored event - the WSOP Europe in London in September."
So far Johansson's live poker run over is in part short, but it does cage some breathtaking cashes in tournaments.
In 2007 she sorted 13th in the $1,000 AUD No-Limit Hold'em episode of the Aussie Millions, won a Bellagio journal tournament and regulated second in the Swedish Poker Championships backing event, until getting her frontal cash in a WSOP occasion.
This year she started off the year by cashing in surplus Aussie Millions development. This time she came in 11th in the $1,500 AUD No-Limit Hold'em Bounty Event.
Her deal with Betfair Poker puts Johansson alongside some of the everything that is's top online pros who've been raising waves in the live tilt world as well.
Annette Obrestad, superiors known as Annette_15, was nominated up by the poker site retrograde she won the WSOPE Main Event last September. Since then Betfair Poker has also added Sorel Mizzi and John Tabatabai to its team.
